Outfit Post - Monday Night

Morning guys! So this is just a post about what I wore on Monday night to the pub as I haven't done an outfit post in a while.

That main part of my outfit is the gorgeous pair of silk leopard print trousers that you can see below. I bought these simply because they were in Topshop's sale so I got them for £8 which you cannot argue with. They, being a statement piece, mean the rest of your outfit can be effortless so is a quick, easy way of dressing up. The are loose and incredibly comfy to wear so great when your sitting all night drinking!

So I teamed my trousers with a plain back loose fitted silk cami top simply because I wanted to ensure the trousers remained the main piece of my outfit and not compromise with other patterns or colours. I got it from River Island for £12 which is a bargain considering how much wear I've had out of it.
I wore my long black leather jacket with the sheep skin collar on top which was the best £80-odd I've ever spent because it's so warm and goes with absolutely everything!
Finally I added my brown leather bag which I use pretty much every day because it makes my outfit altogether look more expensive. I purchased the bag from Topshop and it was £40.

My hair was up in a messy bun (as seen above) as I'd had an exam that day, I had on my usual make-up (featured on another post) but added on the black eyeliner (Magic Ink from Benefit), Eyelure lashes in 207 and Topshops barbie lipstick - Tease which brought my whole outfit together.

So thanks for reading my Outfit post from Monday and I will be doing a post soon on what I've been buying for going to America so keep a look out!
Thanks guys

Purchases from this week - eBay and H&M

Hey guys! So after an incredibly difficult few months I have finally completed second year at uni and I finally have some time to myself! I will now be posting a lot more so keep an eye out!

This post is just about 3 items I have purchased that arrived at the beginning of the week. The first of which is eyebrow pencils which I buy off eBay because I cannot find them elsewhere. They are Calvin Klein eyebrow pencil in #203 'red head' and after being given one on my birthday I've never went back. They only cost £3.99 so I buy 3 each time just in case they go out of stock for a while. These tend to last me 2/3 months which is great considering I use them everyday and sharpen them every 2nd use. The colour is perfect, dark enough to stand out but still fit with red hair. It's almost tinted purple which you can see when you apply it which really looks great. They glide on well, are easy to fix if need be (go round with an angled brush and concealer) so considering the quality, these are a steal and I'd highly recommend it to every redhead! The link is below and you can also see how it looks both below and on in my other posts.

Calvin Klein Eyebrow Pencil, #203 Red Head - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300892237661?var=600104670992&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

I also had two items delivered from H&M, they took two months to come as the sports bra wasn't in stock yet so I chose to just wait for both as I didn't need either straight away. The items were both cheap (prices under photos) and I also found a 10% off code only as well as a £5 off voucher so saved a total of £9 which was brilliant. I literally just typed H&M vouchers into Google and found them so always have a look!
The sports bra is amazing quality and comfy although I haven't worn it to the gym as of yet so still to see how supportive it actually is. It is classed as low support though so would most likely not be suitable for those with a larger chest. All in all though, considering it's also very pretty, £12.99 (original price BEFORE discount) is a great price.

Sports Bra Low Support - £12.99

The second item was a simple triangle soft cup bra which cost (without vouchers) £3.00. The actual cups were a lot smaller than I had anticipated although it looks much better as I'm small chested so it's flattering as opposed to looking too big! I love these bras as they are so comfy for everyday and really girly so a must have for every female!

Soft Cup Bra - £3.99

So that's what I got in the post this week, I will be doing a post tomorrow on what I wore to a night out on Monday so keep a look out!
Thanks for reading!

What I've done this week

Hey guys! So this week I've had two exams (only one more to go thank god) but also two full days off with zero revision. So, here's two of the main things I done that I thought use would be interested in.

Stiletto False Nails - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stiletto-Full-Cover-False-Nails-in-Natural-Clear-Fast-Dispatch-/251380571171?pt=Nail_Polish&var=&hash=item3a87731c23

Firstly I'm a huge fan of pointed stiletto nails however grudge the price tag that comes along with them, not to mention the damage they do to your nail beds. So I tend to use stick on however can never find exactly what I want. So, I went onto eBay and bought 120 natural colour false nails and decided to paint them myself as I have that many gorgeous nail polishes. They (nails) cost £4.25 and got here the next day which was brilliant considering it's free delivery. They are great quality, have a variety of sizes and nail polish takes very well as you can see. So I'd definitely recommend these to anyone who wants pointed nails but isn't keen on the bill!

Another of my favourite things is horse riding so me, my mum and two of her work friends went for a hack yesterday morning. We went up the Pentland hills for an hour and had a great laugh although after not riding for 6 months my bum's pretty agony today! It's a great way to keep fit, involve friends and get outside so I'd highly recommend it for Summer. There's always Groupen vouchers and deals available at local horse riding centres so have a look. I go to the Pentland Hills Trekking Centre and it's definitely the best in Edinburgh as the service is brilliant.

As you can see for the horse riding I kept it simple with a side pleat and fringe back (helmet hair is not a good look) and minimal make up. I wore my black riding boots, beige jodhpurs and a green baggy top which is my typical outfit when riding because it's important to wear appropriate clothes and to be comfortable.

Anyways thanks for reading guys

Acrylic Make-up Organiser

Hey guys!
So just another quick post on a new item I purchased. I don't only have a huge clothes collection, but I have a large amount of make-up. I love trying different products and with pale skin its a trial and error to get the right shades of items.

As you can see from above, I am not exaggerating when I say I own a lot of make-up! I hate trying to find everything in my many make-up bags and its just a waste of time I could use doing something else. I saw acrylic make up organisers on eBay a while back whilst looking at organisers in general and thought they looked great. So I purchased one last week and I picked it up this morning.

As you can see it came packages really well which was a worry I had when buying. It really is gutting when you wait for something and it arrives broken so I was very pleased that it had been packed well.
Inside the box was the two separates which kind of slot together to make the full organiser. It cost me just over £25 which seems a lot but being acrylic and transparent, it just looks really clean, will be easy to keep clean, has plenty of space and looks so lovely on my bedside table. I spend a lot on my make-up and don't want it chucked in a big box, unseen.

As you can see below it's definitely worth the money, everything fits perfectly and I keep my expensive thinks in their boxes so that's a plus! It just looks awesome I think and I am finally able to reach what I want much quicker, keep all my items clean and hopefully will be a lot less likely to lose thinks like eyebrow pencils and eyelash glue.

So for the price I'd highly recommend this item because £25.98 is a great deal. It barely takes up any room and there's a variety of types and sizes online so you can buy one to fit your make-up kit!

OOTD - yesterday

Hello guys! So apologies for barely updating this however, it's exam time. I will finish up on the 19th and I'll be back to doing more on my blog.

So this post is just a quick outfit of the day from yesterday before I went to work!
I wore a pair of black and white chequered cigarette trousers that, as you can see, just graze my ankles. I love this style of trouser as it can be worn for anything and with anything! I managed to grab these off eBay for £12 but they are from Topshop and originally £40. Whenever I see something I like, especially before it's on trend, I check eBay/Depop before buying from branded stores. This way I avoid being overcharged and it also means I have more money to spend on other things. So ALWAYS go bargain hunting because someone's always throwing out stuff so have a look around. I personally sell items I no longer wear on ASOS Marketplace which is brilliant and efficient for clearing out your wardrobe and have made £50 from things that otherwise, would be thrown in the bin!

The t-shirt I'm wearing above must be 3 years old but I love it. Its silk at the back and so loose and comfy to wear! I also love green and it added some colour to my monochrome trousers. It only cost me like £18 from Marks and Spencers so considering the quality and how many times I've worn it, it was a steal! Marks have lovely clothes that aren't expensive when you look at how well these products are made, materials used etc and it still tends to be cheaper than Topshop, River Island. Their 'Limited Collection' is so on trend and filled with amazing clothes so have a look!
I paired this outfit with black penny loafers which I have previously featured on another post.

Finally, you can see my make-up yesterday was very plain and simple. I did tie my hair up as seen in the outfit posts and only have my normal face make up on with Clinique blusher and a Ted Baker lipstick.

Thanks for reading and for your patience, I have so many posts to do after exams and can't wait to review my purchases from the last months!
