Outfit Post!

Hey guys, another post before I go away as I'm trying to stay up as late as possible so I can sleep on the flight!
We have had some amazingly sunny days in Edinburgh recently and not only was I able to go out without a jacket, I had a crop top and sandals on so this post is my full outfit of what I wore! Item links (if available) and prices will be written at the bottom of the post!

Since it's been on the lead up to my holiday, the majority of my Summer items have been packed away so when it went warm I had to improvise! I love being comfy in the sun because it's not nice sweating in tight clothes and so opted for my mom jeans from Topshop. These are a size 10 which is a size bigger than I am now but they are supposed to be baggy so add in a leather belt and they look great! They are comfy, give me more curves than I have and are a lovely shade for Summer!
I teamed the jeans with a high neck maroon crop top, also purchased from Topshop. I have about 5 of these as they are so comfy for wearing. Some fitted crop tops I find are uncomfortably tight and restraining but these ones are perfect, the material is stretchy and they come in a variety of colours to suit everyone. The high neck I think looked great as I had my belly out and that's more than enough!

My 'KISS' belt is one off of a denim pencil skirt I bought from River Island. Belts are not things I like to spend money on so since this came with an item of clothing, I use it with a lot. Great for when your not planning on wearing any other jewellery as well!
My sandals are a recent purchase from River Island which I got purposely for my holiday. I love granny looking shoes with thick heels as they tend to have a 'grunge', 'gothic' look! These ones are perfect if your like me and cannot stand the thought of flip flops going through your toes. They are super comfy and of course, in my favourite colour!

Outfit Post

So this is one of my favourite outfits because it features an item from my favourite shop - nikkilipstick.com. I have done a post on one of her pieces before and this is another item I received - the supreme witch cropped sweater. You can choose to have this piece as a normal length jumper or cropped (which I went for) but price remains the same. If you follow this lovely ladies instagram though you will find she's always offering discount codes so have a look!

Supreme Witch Sweater - $55

The jumper itself has 'SUPREME WITCH' written across the front, which is from the most recent season of American Horror Story - Coven. The white writing makes it stand out and is easy to read, I always get compliment and people asking where it's from when I wear it.
The quality is fantastic, yes $55 sounds a lot even when changed into GBP however this is an individuals business, each item is handmade and unique. I have never seen anything like what Nikki creates so it's so worth the money!
All items are one size which again is great because it means anyone and everyone can wear her creations, not just skinny or larger ladies!
The jumper itself is really comfy, has not lost colour through washing and the writing has stayed in tact so $55 is really a steal!
The only thing to keep in mind is shipping if your not from the US, mine took almost 3 months to arrive which was fine as I was in no rush to receive my items but if you do want something for a particular event, order quickly!

I wore a plain Primark black vest top underneath the jumper which cost £3 and I wear all the time underneath clothing to layer when it's cold!
My navy leggings are from last years winter sale in Topshop and cost me £10 however these particular ones are no longer sold. Topshop leggings are well worth the full price though and I will be purchasing more as these ones have lasted ages and fit so well. I often find leggings sag at the bum after a few washes but these are like brand new!
I also have my brown leather handbag which I carry everywhere, its also from Topshop and cost £40 although I feel it looks much more expensive!

As you can see I have my hair straightened and pretty plain with my normal make up routine as well. I have on Eyelure 070 lashes and Clinique's chuppy stick intense lipstick in '03 mightiest maraschino'. I always wear red lipstick with outfits that mainly consist of black material as it gives it just the right amount of colour!

Anyways guys thanks for having a look, I am away to Florida tomorrow morning - wooooooo - so will try fit in another post before I leave. I am away for two weeks though and won't be able to post (I don't think) but keep and eye out :)

Review - Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream

Hello guys, so I am about to start a hectic week as I leave for America on Friday and have so much to do before I go!
This post is review of a product I got free after buying some Benefit products and there is a full size available to purchase but this is my take on the moisturiser.

As with all Benefit items it had lovely packaging and was a great tester, specifically because its not just a sachet where you can use once. The moisturiser is in a glass container and has a good amount in it, I've barely used any and have used it 3/4 times to cover my face!

Firstly the positives of this product, the moisturiser itself has a lovely clean smell that seems natural as opposed to perfumed. This makes it perfect for sensitive skin because if your like me, I can't use moisturiser with added scent because it just flares up my acne.
The consistency is also good, its quite thick but spreads easily so a little goes a long way but you still feel a good layer is covering your skin. This again is perfect for me because I use facial cream everyday regardless of what I am doing and so cannot afford to be buying it every other week!

Although the majority of things about this cream are positive, I do have one problem - it leaves me feeling greasy. This of course is not a great feeling especially when my aim is to put make up on top of it. So I tend to use this on no make up days as the greasy-ness does go away after it's fully dried in but I wouldn't like to add make up, its like putting foundation on a sweaty face - a big no no! However because I have really dry areas on my face its great for adding moisture meaning when I do wear make up it's easier to apply and looks better.

So for the greasy-ness, I wouldn't purchase this product at its full sized price (£28.50). I use Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream on dry areas and sleep with it on and it's the best product I've ever used so have no need for this particular moisturiser when I don't feel I can put make up on top!

Thanks for reading my review, I will have another post up soon!

Chilled Outfit Post

Morning guys! So this is just a quick outfit post on something I wore last week.

It was a really warm day however I wasn't doing much apart from nipping to Tesco (so much fun). But of course it's still nice to look nice and the main look that's quick and easy to pull off is the skinny jean/baggy tee combo. It's so comfy for lazy days and makes everyone look good!

As you can see from the above and below pictures, I have on the Topshop Joni Jeans in black and white gingham print. This style of jean is so comfy and well fitted that having such an on trend print as well is a mere bonus.
The jumper I'm wearing cost next to nothing from Primark and is a light material so worked perfect for this day as it was pretty warm! I also wanted a plain jumper due to the print on the jeans but something that had a little colour hence its tint of blue.

Definitely one of my favourite outfits for looking good with minimal effort. Add in unbrushed hair (washed, dried and straightened the day prior), some stiletto nails (check previous posts) and red lippy, and your all set to go!

Weekend fun at Baymeadowside

Hey guys, so after a good break after my exams I am now back and aiming to do regular posts on here as much as I can. This is just a post about what I've been up to on my weekend!

The weekend just passed was spend with my boyfriend and close friends at Baymeadowside lodges which are near Cupar. My boyfriend and his friends go a few times a year but this was my first visit and I was not disappointed.
The lodge itself was huge with a master bedroom and en suite, a double room, bathroom, dining room, kitchen and a massive living room. Me and my boyfriend got the master bedroom and it had the biggest bed I've ever seen which was bliss as I'm used to a tiny single bed!
Outside was a 6 person hot tub which we spent a lot of time in as the weather was fantastic (see picture below). It was great to have a good few drinks and be surrounded by fields as opposed to being in the middle of the busy town. It was so chilled out and was exactly what I needed after a stressful couple of months.

With lovely weather came even better company as this was the first time I've been away with the boyfriend so it was nice to spend some proper time together with other friends. Especially with me going away for two weeks soon!

So back home yesterday and missing the lodges already but excited to go back!
Keep an eye out as there will be a good few posts out this week, hope you enjoy them
