Review - MAC Eye Pencil 'Coffee'

I am back with a little review on another recent make-up purchase from MAC Cosmetics.

I love MAC items, in particular their lipsticks but have gradually been buying products for my eyes as I'm trying out different looks on myself. One thing I recently discovered is brown is a colour which is very flattering for my skin tone as it's not too harsh and thus is great for everyday wear. I have other MAC eye pencils and so opted for their one 'Coffee' to see if it would be as good as I imagined.

Below is a swatch of the eye pencil itself, I love black eyeliners and so love this as it's still a dark shade but not as harsh as jet black.
These pencils cost £14 which may sound expensive but they apply extremely smoothly. I have found with some eye kohls on the cheaper side than once sharpened you need to wear it down on your hand as it hurts to use which just wastes a lot of product over time. However these just glide on your skin/waterline which makes the whole applying it more comfortable. In addition, I have been using this a lot since I bought it (possibly equivalent to about 30 days) and I reapply once a day if I'm doing an all day 9am until 5pm sort of thing, and I've still not had to sharpen it. So that gives you a good idea of just how long this is going to last and it's pretty impressive to say the least.

Below is a couple of photos of me wearing the product about to head out and you can see how it totally transforms my look but not too dramatically. The colour is very flattering and great for a simple smokey eye for those who aren't wanting to go all out with black. I personally love it and highly recommend it to all, especially redheads!

Visits to Arbroath!

Hello guys, today I'm going to chat to you all about my grandparents beautiful new home in Arbroath which I've visited a couple of times this year.

They moved in August as the flat they stayed in at the time was getting to much and I very much encouraged them because although it means I can't see them as much, they deserve to live somewhere they love that has little maintenance. They live in a one story home that is home to other retired individuals and accommodates caravans in the Summer. It's large and the homes are all new so it looks really nice. Everyone takes great care of the area and the residents are so lovely and talk to you.
The home is very spacious and everything in it is brand new. My papa is very much into cleaning as well so the place is spotless but very warm and homely also.
Below are a few photographs of the home when I visited for the first time and as you can see it's just gorgeous.

The bus journey there is only an hour and a half and considering at rush hour it can take me an hour to get home, its not too bad if you have music or films or a book to occupy yourself. Regardless it's so worth it to see my Papa and Doreen as we always go for a meal and spend a night or two in the pub. I talk to them about everything and they are so hilarious, we have a right laugh.
I took my little brother down for the first time recently which made the trip even better as he was absolutely dying to go. We had a great meal out and a couple in the pub where Harry enjoyed watching the football with our Papa.

I very much plan on spending a lot of time up in Arbroath in the Summer with my grandparents as its very quiet and the beach will be amazing in the warmer weather.
Thanks for reading though, I know it's a bit different but I like people to know what I get up to as I don't just sit doing make-up or going out (as much as I'd love to) so hopefully you enjoyed this post.

I'll be back soon

Christmas!!

Due to it only being a few days after Christmas, I figured I would post about what I did and what there is in Edinburgh over the festive period.

Edinburgh is particularly beautiful during the Christmas period as Princes Street and St Andrews Square are lit up with stalls, a German market, shows and ice rinks. The lights at night completely change the atmosphere and everyone just gets into the Christmas mood.
Whilst uptown shopping during the day though I wondered down Castle Street and saw, to my delight, reindeer and their calves. I was unaware that this was happening so it was a nice surprise as I think reindeer are super cute so I was very excited. Santa also made an appearance which was great for the children.

Unfortunately I don't have many photos of the lights (I have yet to properly visit Winter Wonderland) although whilst waiting in the queue for a club, I managed to snap this lovely photo of The Dome. It always makes the effort at this time of year and there's a snow machine which is turned on intermittently and just adds to the Christmas feel. The Dome itself is quite large with at least another 5 pillars, so with them all decorated it's definitely something you stop to take proper notice of.

On Christmas day this year I was at my Gran's house with my two aunties. I stayed over the night before after finishing work a 10pm and in the morning we waited on my little brother and Dad to come round. We all watched each other open gifts which was amazing as I really put a lot of effort and thought into them this year and so I really enjoyed seeing their reactions. I got a lot more than I was expecting and cannot thank my family enough for that. My brother spend the day at his mums and so me, my gran and two aunties had a lovely chilled dinner with lots of sweeties afterwards before watching 'White Christmas'. It was a very nice, chilled day which suited me perfectly.

Below I am pictured with my two aunties on Christmas Eve after we dished out all the gifts, ready to be opened the next morning.
I do have an awful lot of presents that I will be featuring and reviewing over the next couple of weeks so hope your looking forward to those!
Thanks for reading, I'll be back soon

I AM BACK!

Hello lovelies! HUGE apology for being inactive for over a month however with exams and family issues I just haven't had the time or energy to post. I am now back and with Christmas over, have a ton of new things to blog about.

On that note, I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas with Santa spoiling you, I know I was very much spoilt which I was not expecting. I am so grateful for everything I received and cannot wait to share it with you all, along with reviews on my opinion of the items.

This post involves an outfit I wore to my works night out a couple of Saturdays ago. It was at a bowling club and I was super excited as my work colleagues are a brilliant laugh. I also couldn't wait to wear a new outfit I had purchased specially for the occasion!

In the above photo is myself and a work friend who pulled out all the stops in his Christmas suit, I had to get a photo!
In terms of my outfit, I felt I looked pretty damn good! The high neck top was a purchase from Topshop (£10 before student discount) and the skirt was also from there which was £38 but is now £20 in the sale. The top I have already in green and for £10 you cannot go wrong. It's comfortable, not itchy, fits well and keeps you warm on these cold nights (chest wise).
The skirt I was originally unsure of as I've never worn gold, silver, metallic clothing before but family assured me it would suit my hair. I am super happy I followed their advice as I felt it looked great. Really made my outfit pop and is perfect for this time of year as sparkles and metals are everywhere.
I teamed the outfit with over the knee platform suede boots from River Island (£70). These beauties were purchased for my birthday off my better half and so weren't available at a cheaper price. The amount was well invested though as they not only look fantastic, they are unbelievably comfy (I wore them 5:30pm - 3am) and keep you warm. They are also just a nice alternative to the normal platform, court shoes that are commonly worn when out!

In terms of make-up I used all my normal products (I will do an update on what exactly those are very soon) but also used some new pieces which I want to talk about.
I received some new MAC Cosmetic items from the other half which included MAC glitter in shade 'gold'. I applied this by using eyelash glue on my lid and pressing the glitter on with a flat brush. It's loose so very messy but worth it as it stayed on all night and with glitter you can never go wrong!
On the inner corners, I used another new product from MAC which is the pigment in Vanilla. Again this is loose but easier to control and there's no need for glue. It's super shiny and totally brightens your eyes which looks lovely. The combination of the glitter and pigment just meant my eyes super stood out and popped.
I used MAC myth on my lips which is a beautiful matte nude lipstick and I wear it all the time. I either have bright eyes or bright lips so obviously here, nude lipstick was the way to go. It can be drying but as long as you look after your lips and use Vasaline or similar then you should be alright.

I also wore a daisy chocker, the only piece of jewellery (apart from my piercings) I had on that night. It was just to break up my top half a little and I think added a little cute-ness to my outfit. I purchased it from Forever 21 about 2 years ago for around £6.
Below are a couple more photographs from the night, along with links to all the items I have discussed.

Lush purchases and a raffle win

Hello again! So today I'll be talking about my first experience in a Lush Cosmetic store and a look at an item I won at a silent auction!

First of all - Lush! I've never been in simply because I normally get so much bath and body stuff for Christmas and my birthday that I cannot justify buying more. Plus, my skin is incredibly sensible and I'm often reluctant to purchase new things in case I break out. However after running out of products I received as gifts, I needed some new items and wanted to try Lush. I'd spent a lot of time looking at reviews online and decided that if anything was going to help my skin, it would be these products.
So, I went to the store on Princes Street and was literally overwhelmed by the smells and choices. Luckily one of the workers came straight over and offered to help! He not only showed me what products were what but showed me how they looked in water and recommended specifics for me. The service was quite unbelievable and for that alone I'd definitely go back! Anyway I ended up picking up £53 worth of products and will be reviewing them as I use them!

My first review is of the magic wand bubble bar. Beautiful and bright with an amazing candy smell! It's also reusable which makes it really great value for money considering it's only £5.25. Mines has barely changed size and I've used it 4 times already! The bath goes a lovely pastel pink when used and the smell stays for hours which is impressive! I'd highly recommend this product especially for gifts as it looks pretty too.

My other news is what I won at a silent auction a friend of mine held for her son's pipe band. She had contacted me after seeing my Harry Potter tattoo on Facebook to let me know one of the items on auction - a signed Daniel Radcliffe photograph from when he was filming the Dealthy Hallows: Part 2. Of course I was straight in there and won it at £35, much less than I expected to pay. So I have that among my collection of Harry Potter items and hopefully it will continue to grow!

Thanks for reading everyone, I'll be back soon with a couple of Christmas gifts I've bought for family members and another Lush product review!

Halloween

Hello everyone, so first off, apologies for not being active the past couple of weeks! It's deadline time at uni and well with 8 essays I have no time for anything let alone dressing well. However, I had Halloween off to get myself out and had an absolute blast.

If you follow my Instagram you will have seen that I dressed as a lion for the second time in a row. This year though I made much more of an effort with make up which was an awful lot of fun.
Below you can see my make up which was just copied off someone whose image I found whilst googling 'lion make up' and thought I'd give it a bash as it looked amazing. All the black eyeliner is Benefits Magic Ink on the top with MaC black eye pencil on the bottom! I used a MAC white eye liner on my bottom lip and on my eye to seep rate the top and bottom black lines (hope that makes sense)

My nose and upper lip were done using a Topshop black lipstick called 'Raven' with the dots below my nose being done with the black MAC pencil.
This make up surprisingly lasted the whole night which was very impressive but I did use Urban Decays make up setting spray which is how it stayed on. I swear by this spray as my make up never budges and stays looking like I just done it!

For Halloween me and the other half went to a friends house party and had a fantastic time! Met a couple of new people and caught up with friends I hadn't seen in a few weeks. Plus it barely cost a penny as they kindly provided food and I only needed to bring a bottle of wine!

A photo of me and Scott so you can see his hilarious Teletubbies outfit which was just brilliant!

Hope use had a great Halloween like myself and I'll be back in the next couple of days with a review of a recent purchase!

Pub outfit

Hello again!
Today's post features the new jeans I posted last time and a new purchase from Topshop! I wore the outfit out to the pub as it was smart causal.

As you can see from the above photos I'm wearing my amazing Ragged Priest ripped jeans! I've barely had these off as I'm simply obsessed. They are so flattering and go with trainers and heels so perfect for a day shopping and a night on the town. They make an outfit more interesting as well due to the rips which is helpful as winter everyday can be quite plain when you have a big jacket on!
The top I'm wearing is the rip funnel top from Topshop which was only £10. I love high neck items in the winter and this was perfect for indoors when the hearings on as its short sleeves. It's a forest green which I think matches perfectly with my red hair. Plus for £10 it's amazing quality and super comfy!

Thanks for reading and I'll be back soon!

New purchases - Topshop

Hello again! So I purchased a few new items from Topshop this month which I thought I'd write a bit about so here we go..

First up is a beautiful asymmetrical bra that I've had my eye on for ages but I needed other winter items first. I had some money left over from what I had to spent and thought I'd treat myself to this piece.
It's just as gorgeous as it looks and is very comfortable to wear. The lace is very soft and the bra is well fitting which I was a little worried about.
I love soft cup bras as they are just perfect for everyday wear and I wear them most of the time now as there is so many beautiful styles out! It may seem a little pricey but I always invest a lot in underwear because if you lack in quality it can end up uncomfortable and painful so for something you wear everyday it's worth putting money into.
My only issue with this bra is it's a nightmare to get on and off, it fits perfectly but there's no hooks or zips and so you just pull it over your head. This isn't easy though as it's fitted to my under chest size and my shoulders are a good bit wider than that!

Asymmetric Bandeau Bra - £20

My second purchase is another underwear piece, a set of matching bra and pants. I only had one strapless bra which is black and so I needed another, lighter colour one for nights out. This one looked perfect and reminded me of a mermaid so I had to have it.
The pink is brighter than in the photo which was fine as I love a bit of pink and the set together just looks amazing. The bra is very well fitted and comfy to wear and the pants are also great for everyday. I love high waisted pants as their pin-up style looking and very flattering so these are perfect for me.

STRAPLESS BRA AND HIGH-WAISTED KNICKERS - £34

The last item I got was the jeans below which I've been searching for, for ages! I have tried tons of shops for super ripped jeans but the quality was always either rubbish or over-priced. I eventually noticed these on Topshops website though and fell in love!
I originally ordered a size 8 which I normally am but they were tiny! I swapped for a size 10 and although their a little big it's unnoticeable with a belt!
They are really different and interesting hence why I was drawn to them and work for everyday as well as on night's out! Plus, they wash really well wish isn't normally the case with black jeans!

Shredded Jeans by The Ragged Priest - £55

So hope you enjoyed seeing what I bought, I'll post an outfit with my new jeans very soon!

Ootd - Evening outfit

Hello lovelies! Today's post is on an outfit I wore on Saturday night when I went out up town for the first time in ages!

As you can see from the photo below I have a just above the knee length dress on. The dress is from Zara and was purchased in last years winter sale for £9.99 and I'm only just wearing it now!
I absolutely adore this dress because it's black, has lace, tartan and a floral pattern all into one! The colours are perfect for this time of year and fit well with my pale skin.
It's also really flattering as the patterned but starts at your waist which not only pulls your in making you look like you have an hourglass figure, but, it makes you look taller. This is even more so because of the length, knee length or just above is my favourite as its sophisticated and makes me look even taller!

I paired the outfit with my black cleared platform boots from River Island (blogged previously) because the club wasn't super dressy. I'd also just finished a shift at work and couldn't be bothered walking around in heels!

Above you can see my make up which was as normal with white eyeliner from MAC on my waterline and Ardell Demi  wispie lashes! This was taken prior to my shift at work and so I added dark purple lipstick from Topshop before going out.

Thanks for reading my post, hope you enjoyed it and I'll be back in the next couple of days!

Kat Von D Foundation and Smashbox powder review

Afternoon guys! Today I'm just posting a quick review on two items I bought in Florida at Sephora,in June. I only used them for the first time recently as I always use up old make up first (hate things going to waste) and so was super excited as I don't know anyone personally whose used these products.

So first up is Kat Von D's lock it tattoo foundation in shade light 44 which cost $34.
I have very pale skin and finding good quality foundation is an absolute nightmare, even when I went into Sephora the women was surprised at how pale I was. Although I had heard this foundation came in two pale shades 42 and 44, I am 44 as it has beige undertones, 42 has pink undertones.
I always go for liquid foundations and have been using MAC Cosmetics studio sculpt but it's so cakey and looks rubbish by the end of the day so I was overly happy when I finally opened this.
The consistency is thick (in terms of liquid anyway) but it means a little goes a long way as opposed to being thick and cakey. I use a pea sized amount which easily covers my whole face. I use my normal foundation brush (MAC 187 duo fibre brush) and they work perfectly together, the product is quick drying as well which is perfect for me because I like my foundation to dry before I apply any eyebrow or eye make up.
The colour is perfect for my skin tone as well, MAC's was a little orange which I toned down with a pale powder however when you pay a lot for a product you expect a colour match.
Another reason this is one of my favourite foundations is that it is full matte coverage. I like to look almost doll like and this fits the bill as it covers my acne scars and redness, I don't need to apply concealer even when I have a spot but it still doesn't look cakey which is unbelievable.
I don't know where this can be purchased in the UK but Sephora do ship here so you should definitely give it a go! Considering it's only $34 which equals to about £21 plus postage would equal to around £30 which is cheap considering how great the quality of this product is.

Second is the Smashbox Halo hydrating perfection powder in fair which cost $49 (£31). The women in Sephora recommended this product to me as I asked for a matte powder that would not dry out my skin. Although my skin is combination the dry areas are really dry and powders can make my skin look like it's peeling which is disgusting. So, finding a good quality powder is key! I did use Benefit's hello flawless powder which is great but a lot of product needed to be used I felt so I wasn't getting much for my moneys worth.
This Smashbox powder on the other hand is unbelievably good. I apply it with a MAC large powder brush and you don't even feel like your putting anything on your skin it's that light. This is great because I wear make up all day every day so at the end of each day, feeling heavy and as though your make up is sunken into your pores is not nice at all. There is also an awful lot of product in this powder so yes £31 may seem a lot but quality aside you are getting plenty of use out of it as not much is needed either. It does at it says and never leaves my skin feeling dry even after a full 18 hour day and dries perfectly matte.
Again, I high recommend this product as it's just all round fantastic!

Above you can see me wearing both of the above products, there's no filter on this photo just sunlight. As you can see my skin looks flawless which is amazing considering I have no concealer on and have lots of red areas from acne scarring. The colour matches my complexion perfectly and the matte finish is very much noticeable!

So, thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed my little review!

New buys - iPhone and River Island boots

Hello guys! So I've been ridiculously busy with uni but finally submitted my first essay this morning, only 6 more to go! I have written this post though to show you two buys, one recent and one not so much so I could review them.

First of all I finally reached the end of my contract with my Samsung S3 and took a dive in the deep end with an iPhone. I've never had one but thought it was worth a try. I got the iPhone 5s in gold which looks fab, the white and gold together make it look super stylish and cute. The phone itself is also brilliant, easy to work, has all the apps I need and an amazing camera! Being a blogger and instagrammer, this is a must. I honestly don't know why I haven't invested in one of these before but I'm really impressed with it and just now waiting on my phone case!

I also bought the boots below last month from River Island. I was in dire need of new waterproof boots for winter but wanted something a little different to the normal chelsea boot. So I saw these beauties on RI's website and had to have them, I love a cleated sole as it looks quite gothic (which suits me perfectly) and the platform means they dress up any casual outfit. They are ridiculously comfy and easy to walk in which of course is another plus considering it will be snowing soon! So, considering they were a mere £36 I cannot emphasise how great these are and at such a steal. Many winter boots are over priced and completely fall apart but RI have an amazing, good quality Winter collection so go check it out!

I'll be back in the next few days to review another recent purchase from Topshop but for now, I hope you enjoyed this post!

What I've been upto these past few weeks

Hello!

So in case any of you are interested, this is a post on what I've been up to the past couple of weeks!
I'm back at uni which although difficult, is going really well as I'm keeping up to date with everything and working harder than I ever had. Outside of university though I've been busy as well because I often need a break from all the reading and typing!

First of all I finally got my Harry Potter tattoo, it's been in my head since the beginning of the year however I've not had the spare money to get it done due to unseen circumstances that happened over summer.
I got it done in Studio 13 in Edinburgh by the lovely Noemi. I took in a drawing I had done myself and the outcome was 100x better than I could have imagined.
For those of you who haven't seen Harry Potter the tattoo is off the Dealthy Hallows sign which is introduced in the last book and has 'always' written underneath because its the last thing Severus Snape says in the book. I am in love with it and cannot wait to keep getting more!
I also love piercings and got my forward helix done which was number 14 and one of my favourites!

I've been making more of an effort to see family this past year and have been having a great time doing so! I went with my gran and two aunties to the carvery which was awesome! I even tried one of their new puddings (see below) which was a yorkshire pudding with ice cream and it was absolutely gorgeous.

It was also my little brothers 13th birthday on the 27th of  September. I cannot believe how grown up he is already, makes me feel so old.
I got him the fifa 15 game which he had asked for so I knew he was happy to receive it. I also took him uptown to go shopping with his birthday money and we had a great laugh as well as a nice dinner at KFC.

I've also been working a lot, bought myself an xbox and some new bits and bobs for my room so the past month has flown by!

Thanks for reading and I'll post again tomorrow

River Island Winter Jacket Review

Hey guys, it's been a while I know but being back at uni is killing me! Managing to keep on top of work though and have a ton of stuff to show you guys!

First of all, winter is on it;s way which means - a new winter wardrobe. This of course entails some shopping for new pieces and one of the main ones is a new jacket!
Now I adore jackets, I currently have 4 and sold 3 on eBay to make room. Due to being at university in the winter it's really important that I have good winter clothes because it gets freezing and so need good quality stuff and a coat is the main thing that keeps me warm and cosy.
River Island had a 20% off sale a few weeks back for two hours only and so figured I may as well have a good look and get myself a few things. I have been ridiculously impressed with River Island recently as their Autumn/Winter stuff has been gorgeous! This coat included -

Black faux fur collar wool parka jacket in black - £90

So the reason this jacket caught my eye is because it has three of my favourite things - leather, black and faux fur. Hence why I just had to get it! It is expensive but its an investment you should make considering how awful winters can be here and jackets are expensive everywhere. It was also free to collect from the store which saved me even more money and that always helps!

I was super excited when I got the email to go pick it up and ran straight home to try it on. As you can see from the pictures below it just looks so good. The quality of the wool, leather and faux fur is impeccable and I would of happily paid more so £90 is an absolute steal! It's thick, not too heavy and comfortable to wear. The fur is really soft and matches my hair which is cute.

I like my jackets kind of long as well so this fits the bill ending at the top of my thighs. I got the jacket in a size 10 and I can fit a couple of layers on underneath without it feeling tight which again is what I prefer, I don't like tight jackets.

So overall if your looking for a great jacket go to River Island because there are some absolute beauties for great prices!

I'll be back soon

New Glasses from Primark

 Hello!

Today is just a small, quick post because I have a ridiculous amount of uni work to do but I will post again this week!

So, my eyes are not bad in any sense however, they hurt and go blurry after days in university because I'm constantly looking at screens and reading so I needed a pair of glasses that were just a little bit magnified to help focus my eyes.

Now I think it's ridiculous what some places charge for glasses and contacts and so when I saw reading glasses in Primark I thought this must be too good to be true! They came in 4 different types of prescription, I was the smallest and they had tons of different styles and colours to choose from. I picked the ones you see below, plain, simple but stylish and they cost me £4. An absolute bargain!

They have helped my eyes stay focused and keep the sore heads at bay so I cannot complain considering how cheap they were.

So if your looking for cheap, low prescription reading glasses, Primarks the way to go!

Thanks for reading!

Red Cherry Lashes Review

Hello lovelies!

So as many of you know, I love make-up and trying new things but, I especially love eyelashes! Due to wearing winged eyeliner it sometimes looks like my eyelashes are really small which I absolutely hate and so false eyelashes are the solution.
I used to wear Eyelure lashes 020 however they only lasted at maximum, 3 days and by that point weren't looking great. Considering I never put macasra on top it wasn't worth the money and I gave up. However, after hearing countless people rave about Red Cherry lashes I figured I'd give them a go!

After having a look at reviews and videos I choose the #43 as they looked perfect for everyday! I purchased them off Amazon (links underneath) for £1.99 and the delivery was free so I definitely won with that!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AV47F76/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The arrived within a week or so which I wasn't bothered about anyway considering the cheap price! They looked even better in person, like real lashes i.e. wispie and not all perfectly even which seems about right considering they are human hair.

I have them on in all of the following pictures. They were perfect length which was great, often I need to trim mine which can go wrong and is just a waste considering the price of some lashes!
The were also incredibly light and despite wearing them from 9am in the morning until 10pm at night I couldn't feel them, my eyes never felt heavy and they stayed in place (I use the Eyelure glue).
It's obviously I have fake eyelashes on however they are not in your face and look really flattering and girly so I continue to use them everyday.

So if your looking for eyelashes I would highly recommend these especially when they are available at cheap prices from Amazon!
(Also my lipstick is Heroine by MAC)

River Island High Neck Jumper Review

Hello again guys, this post is just a small one on an outfit I wore on my first day back at university (yesterday) and a review on the jumper as it's a recent purchase!

It's that time again when I need to knuckle down for university, especially this year as I am now in my 3rd year and thus an Honour's student. It's really exciting and my classes are looking great so I'm excited for a challenging but rewarding year!
Now being a university student instantly puts me on a budget and I refuse to ever go near my overdraft so considering I love clothes, I need to be sensible. I also need to ensure what I buy is comfortable for sitting it lectures and warm because obviously it's going to get really cold very soon!
I purposely done an extra 78 hours of overtime at my work last month (bearing in mind that was over 3 weeks on top of my contracted 8 hours a week) to ensure I could buy a good quality winter wardrobe. Also, fortunately when your a student a lot of shops have student discount anyway but the amount off increases during Freshers week.

River Island Turtle Neck - £25

However this top that you see above was a full price buy and was something I've wanted for ages. I had seen it on River Islands website and fell in love, it's great for layering, covers my chest (from the cold) and is nice and baggy. I waited for ages to buy it but no shops were sticking it and I eventually just ordered it into the store (which is free) instead. I bought it in grey which was the only colour available at the time but couldn't find it on the website - although I did just buy the maroon one!

I wore the top to university and must say was not disappointed. Despite being relatively thin the high neck just made me so cosy! I wore a black top underneath because I love to layer my clothes in the winter and it meant I was even warmer.
The boxy style of the jumper was very flattering as it made my legs look longer and slimmer and made me look like I was just wrapped up nicely!
Another thing I have with jumpers is itchy-ness, I cannot stand being itchy in jumpers especially when they aren't exactly cheap but the material of this one was perfect. I was so comfortable and it did not cause any irritation whatsoever.
In terms of the price I feel that £25 is actually really reasonable, this jumper is fashionable, warm and comfortable and would easily be double the price in somewhere like Topshop. Plus considering how cold Winter can get, I will happily pay a good amount when I want to be shielded from the cold!

Finally I paired the jumper with black Primark leggings (£3) and my new Nike trainers which I'll show you in my next blog post!
My hair was left natural, normal make-up was worn along with Red Cherry lashes (a review will be up soon) and MAC's Ruby Woo lipstick to give a pop of colour!

Thanks for reading!
