Hello guys! So this post is mostly photographs from my trip to the Magic Kingdom in Florida. Of course this park is one of the most popular due to it having many of the Disney characters as well as Cinderella's castle.
On arriving (we had already purchased tickets) we were given the cutest '1st visit' badges to wear which were an awesome touch. Tons of people - adults, teenagers and kids wore them so it was great seeing everyone join in with something so simple.
As with all the parks the gardens are absolutely beautiful and well kept. The grass looks like it's truley from a Disney animation it's that green!
Magic Kingdoms main attraction is main street which has hundreds of shops with souvenirs, clothes, ornaments etc in them. All shops looked straight out of a Disney film - big, bright and colourful. There was people singing, dancing and Disney characters everywhere - the place was just so fun and inviting.
Then of course there's Cinderella's castle which you see whilst walking down main street. Its massive and identical to the one in the original animation! The Disney characters preform on the front of the castle but you can walk through if there's nothing on.
Everything was just so large and overdone but absolutely nothing was tacky. It was actually like walking down a Disney film. Everyone was so friendly and the fact every single person embraced it was insane. Age doesn't matter here and that was my favourite part!
Of course there were rides in the park, mostly small ones and simulators but they were still great. Unfortunately our visit ended early as a huge thunderstorm hit but we did visit again. It was just an amazing feeling to be somewhere I wanted to go for a number of years and cannot wait to experience it again!
