Sleek make-up - Contour kit review

Hey guys, to avoid having constant Florida posts, today's will be a review of Sleek make-ups face contour kit.

I bought this product a while ago after seeing it feature multiple times on make-up enthusiasts instagrams. Hence, I figured I'd give it a try, especially with the cheap price tag (item and pricing information at the end of the post). Contouring as part of everyday make up is becoming increasingly popular and being pale, I thought it would be fun to work some more structure into my face, or rather the illusion of structure.

Above are two photos of the kit when it arrived, it's very compact and the case is a lovely matte. Despite the small casing, you get a lot of product. I've used mine multiple time and barely made a dent and although I don't use a lot of product, it has got way more than I anticipated for the price.

Below you can see a photo of the inside, you get two sections - one for contouring, the other for highlighting! The darker, contour shade comes in 3 different shades and I chose light. It does look pretty dark however it's important to remember that contouring is a build up of colour and lots of blending so that it appears that your features do in fact stand out so much.
I use the MAC contour brush (109) as it's a nice small brush that puts the product on concisely but also blends really well.

Attached is also a photograph of me having used this contour palette and as you will see, my cheekbones are a lot more pronounced without looking like I have a line of brown powder across my face. This then contrasts against the shimmery highlighter which look's lovely against the matte of the contour shade. It's great for everyday and I only use this technique on my cheeks although for nights out I'm going to practise using it on my nose and chin.
The techniques itself is difficult to master but remember to BLEND, its crucial! But I would definitely recommend this product as its fantastic and ridiculously cheap considering the quality!
