This post will be on my first outfit which I wore in Florida when we visited the Magic Kingdom. I will do more specific posts on parks however there are a couple of photos included!
So obviously in America it's hot and humid 90% of the time so I ditched my normal straightened hair and embraced the natural curls! This kept my hair in great condition as I used no heat (apart from on my fringe) and saved me a lot of time and effort!
Again, with the heat and all the walking you need to wear appropriate clothing. So on day one I opted for my grey wash shorts from Topshop (links will be posted below along with prices) and a vintage crop top.
The shorts I simply bought because they were pretty cheap but was surprised at how great quality they were. They were really comfortable and true to size which is always a huge plus. I was never left with suncream stains and the colour and quality has kept up after a good few washes. Being dark grey they go with everything and I wore them way more that I thought I would so I definitely recommend these, even for on top of a bikini as they're a steal!
The top is from Topshop also but as part of a reworked vintage selection they had for a while so unfortunately I doubt you will find this exact one. However, there's always similar versions of stuff going around!
Now this top again is comfy, the material is thin and light which worked well in the heat. It was one size and so is a little baggy but again, great for the heat as there's nothing worse than a tight top round your arms when its 100 degrees outside! Also, there was no suncream stains on the back (the back is all white) and the top itself is very cute and summery.
Now being a redhead, I burn very easily and the best way to avoid this is with sun cream and a good hat! The one in the photo above was purchased specifically for my holiday and although a little pricey, was so worth it! I wore it every day as it went with all my outfits and made me look a little witchy (love!). Despite being black it didn't absorb the sun as the material is straw like which was a worry when I bought it but I was pleasantly surprised.
As I mentioned, the first day we visited the Magic Kingdom which was awesome, I have more photos and will do a separate post on the park so keep a look out!
